Carroll Shelby in His Own Words. While scrolling through the net I found this great interview from the King Rose Archives which is compiled from a series of interviews with Carroll.
Its interesting to hear him as he actually spoke and told stories. Goes through his upbringing and introduction to AC, rejection from GM for a motor to protect the Corvette, his offer from Ford and the later offer to covert the Mustang into a race car or “sports car” as he calls it. Also his lesson in life “Learn what you can’t do”.
