Melbourne Cobra Owners Club

After some great negotiation by Club President Macka McKenzie the Laurie Bongailis trophy from the Cobra Nationals has returned to the Club.

The trophy will now be awarded as an annual perpetual trophy held by the member who wins the designated event for the year – could be sprint, track time, hill climb, etc and then returned to the Club for the next year.

Each year the members/winners name will beevgraved on the trophy.

We  are very pleased to have George Vidovic coming along to talk at our next General Meeting on Tuesday the 8th of September  at 7.30pm  at the Manningham Hotel & Club in Bulleen.

George has been involved in the motoring industry and has a remarkable background covering mechanics, engineering, fabrication, design, team leadership, racing and much more.

If it’s got anything to do with building and racing Cobra vehicles George has done it!

So get on your email and advise the Secretary of your attendance and bring a friend.
